An Introduction of Using Nero Express

Opening Nero and navigating to videos/pictures and hit the DVD-Video files option. A new screen will pop up. The first option we will want to check is in the bottom right hand corner and it is the max size of the DVD to be burned. By default it should be set to DVD9/8152. This is the capacity of a DVD-9, which is a dual layer DVD. Depending on the size of the video files you are trying to burn, you may either want to leave it at DVD-9 or hit the drop down arrow and change it to DVD5/4483. This is the size of a single layer DVD or DVD-5. For example I am using a DVD-9 but choose what size fits your Video_TS folder.

In this post, I will tell you how to use the impressive Nero Express 8 to burn DVD-video. There are a few steps to go so and we will go through each of them. To begin, we will start by opening Nero StartSmart and navigating to Nero Express in the right hand column. If Nero Express is not there, then click Add/Remove, check off Nero Express and hit OK. How to use Nero Burning Rom to burn DVD files to a blank DVD-R or DVD+R

First of all, I assume you have a Nero Burning Rom in your PC, if you do not have one, get it from: www.nero.com. Install it in you computer and let’s start.

Creating a new DVD-Video compilation
Launch Nero Burning Rom in the classic mode (not the Nero Express wizard mode). Choose DVD  from the drop-down menu, and select DVD-Video as the compilation type (Sellect the third one down). Click the New  button to open up the DVD layout view.

Why error occurre when using Nero to burn DVD video files?

When adding *.VOB files, I often got an error message using Nero to burn DVD video files?

General DVD video disc will be more than one *.vob file, for example Video_TS.vob, VTS_01_0.vob, VTS_01_1.vob etc. Video_TS.vob initial segment which recorded the video information (typically the start menu, video), while the back of each section will be recorded in the period before and after a period of information, so if some of them directly to drag out a single part and burning it to a DVD video disc, Nero software will automatically prompt detection of “compatibility test fails, DVD video may not play,” message.
