Edit, Clip and Merge

In article 1, we mainly give a detailed guide to convert video or DVD files for your portable devices. Here we will continue to introduce another 3 key functions of Video Magic:  Edit, Clip and Merge.

1. Edit: contain powerful video or DVD eidting features: clip, crop, effect, subtitle, watermark (to edit DVD, you need to upgrade to Video Magic Pro or Video Magic Ultimate)

1.1 Clip: Clip any part of your video item or DVD into several smaller segments directly.

Step 1: After loading video files, clickto go to Edit box as below:

Step 2. First click to clip video, and use buttons below to operate:

: Click to start to clip.

: Click to end clipping.

:In this button list, you can: play, pause, start a clip, end the clip, rotate by 90 degree CW, and preview your video or DVD that you want to edit.

Step 3. Click  to finish. Click to clip the original video file again. Click to give up the video clip.

1.2 Crop: Crop video sides as you like.

Step 1. In Edit box, click  to show Crop box below:

Step 2. Drag the 8 red points to crop the video image size as you like.

:Show your cropped video info.

Step 3. Click  to finish. Click to crop the original video file again. Click to give up the video crop.

1.3 Effect: Add special effects to personalize your video or DVD (brightness, hue, saturation and contrast).

Step 1. In Edit box, click to turn to Effect tab below:

Step 2. Drag the bar to change or adjust special effects (brightness, hue, saturation and contrast) onto your selected video or DVD:

Step 3. Click  to finish. Click to edit original video file again. Click to give up all the changes you made.

1.4. Subtitle: Add subtitle in your video file. (Available in all versions of Video Magic)

Step 1: In Edit box, click to show Subtitle tab as below:

: click  to plug in your subtitle.

: Drag to change the added subtitle size and vertical position.

Step 2. Click  to finish. Click to add subtitle file again. Click to give up all the changes you made.

1.5. Watermark: Add watermark on your video files.

Step 1: In Edit box, click to add watermark:

Step 2. Add your favorite text in the "Text " and drag the added text on the screen to select the watermark position. You can also drop down to select your preferred color and size for your watermark.

Step 3. Click  to finish. Click to add watermark file again. Click to give up all the changes you made.

2. Merge: Merge multiple video files into one. (Available in all versions of Video Magic. )

Step 1. Click to open Merge box:

: Click to add the movies you want to merge into one.

: Select your desired movie file, then click this Movie Left button to move this file.

: Click to move right your desired movie file.

: Click to delete all your added movie files.

: Select to enter your desired title for your merged movie.

: Select to enter credits for your movie.

Step 2. Click to merge your added movie files into one. Click to give up.
