You can record DVD movie as MPEG2 video or MP3 audio file. It is very easy to do it, first play your DVD movie and then directly click Record button on Main Control Panel, or click in Floating Panel to activate Record page, then click record button, you will begin to record file.
Record DVD Video:
When you start recording DVD movie, the recorded video would be saved as ".mpg" file format as default.
Note: BlazeDVD allows you to record unlimited DVD movie with Pro and Ultimate version, but the Trial Version only allows you to record DVD video for 3 minutes, while the Free Version does not support DVD Recording Feature.
Record DVD Audio:
Beside record DVD as video, you can also record this DVD movie as MP3 audio file, please refer to Record Setting to set record type as MP3 file first, then begin to record, the record file will be saved as ".mp3" file in the directory you have specified in Record Setting page.

Then the record file will be auto saved by record time in the specified folder you have set in Record Option page.

Right-click Floating Panel Window, then a drop-down list would pop up as below:
